Traffic Light (OO) Working

Manufacturer description

This working traffic light is delivered pre-assembled and ready to fit into your model. It is easy to fit and wire up. All you need to do is drill a hole where you want the light, attach two wires to the base and power it with a 9 - 16v supply. It can also be controlled with DCC programming by linking it to your DCC Bus wire.

The traffic light operates just like a conventional one found on British streets. The sequence lasts between 9 and 30 seconds so that if you have more of them on the layout they won't all change at once.

For that finishing touch, you can add a thin white line to the outside of the head which enhances the detail and makes them look that little bit more realistic.

This pack contains one working Traffic Light and one dummy (non lit). If you would like a pair of working Traffic Lights, then you might consider GM378 Traffic Lights Set.

You will need either a 9 - 16v DC power supply or a feed from your DCC track. We recommend using a GMC-WM4 Wall Mounted Transformer to power these lights on a DC model railway.

Gaugemaster Traffic Light (OO) Working
Part number: GM377
Height: 50 mm

The traffic light is supplied fully assembled and ready to be fitted to a model layout. Installation requires drilling a hole at the desired position, attaching two wires to the base and supplying 9–16 V DC. It can also be linked to a DCC bus for control via DCC programming.

The unit operates like a standard British street traffic signal, with a cycle lasting between 9 and 30 seconds to prevent synchronisation when multiple lights are used. A thin white line may be added to the outer edge of the head for added realism.

The pack contains one working traffic light and one dummy (unlit) unit. For those needing two working lights, the GM378 Traffic Lights Set is available. Power can be drawn from a 9–16 V DC supply or from the DCC track; a GMC‑WM4 wall‑mounted transformer is recommended for DC model railways.
