All wagon loads are available to purchase separately, either as spares or so you can ring the changes and switch from beer to water to propellers as you see fit.

C6021 | B749039 | BR Adhesives (Cambridge to Inverness)

Another graduate of the 1950 Bass Beer batch (but built at Shildon to a different chassis design), this wagon appears three times in our lineup – albeit in very different identities! Repurposed by British Railways in 1962, it spent the next decade or so transporting adhesives from Cambridge to Inverness, until the closure of the latter’s chipboard factory.

This OO gauge model, C3021 Demountable Tank Load 'B749039', represents a British Railways Late Crest era wagon. The model is available from Clark Railworks as part of their BR Adhesives range. The model is a variant of the 1950 Bass Beer batch, but with a different chassis design, built at Shildon.

The wagon in question was repurposed by British Railways in 1962 and spent several years transporting adhesives from Cambridge to Inverness. The line closed in the late 1960s, following the closure of the chipboard factory at Inverness.

The model is available as part of an Eras 5 range, which suggests it is set in the 1960s.
