‘Prince’ | Industrial
The erstwhile ‘Bassett’ made tracks to George Cohen & Sons (scrap merchants) and shortly after to the Big Smoke, where it was put to work by United Glass Bottle Manufacturers (South London) who bestowed upon it a slightly grander name. This loco is one of the lucky survivors and when initially preserved reassumed its original identity of No.19.

Here is a summary of the content:
The Ellis Clark Trains model of the LYR 'Pug' 0-4-0ST locomotive, named "Prince", is a model of a steam locomotive in OO gauge. This model represents a locomotive from the period of the Big Four railway companies, which includes the LNER, LMS, GWR, and SR.
The locomotive has a specific history, having previously been owned by various companies, including Bassett and United Glass Bottle Manufacturers in South London, who renamed it "Prince". This model is one of the few surviving examples of this locomotive, and it will retain its original identity of No.19 when preserved.
This model is expected to be released in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027, and will be available in both DC/DCC Ready and DCC Sound Fitted versions. The DC/DCC Ready model will be priced at £150.00, although the price of the DCC Sound Fitted model has yet to be confirmed.
The model features a range of detailed components, including a sprung buffer, diecast construction, and etched plates and separately fitted details. The locomotive will also have a removable NEM coupling and socket, and space for EM/P4 conversion. Other features include a firebox glow, coreless motor, and quality gearbox. The DCC Sound Fitted model will also have a pre-fitted speaker, stay-alive on board, and DCC controlled firebox lighting.
