The Ellis Clark Trains OO gauge model of locomotive LYR 0-4-0ST No. 155 is a pre-grouping era representation. This model is based on a specific locomotive with a rich history.
The locomotive in question was allocated to Goole shed upon its construction and operated in the Yorkshire area until December 1947. It was later transferred to Crew, Bangor and eventually to Bristol, before being withdrawn by British Railways in 1960.
The model is available in both DC and DCC ready versions. The DC/DCC ready models feature sprung buffers, mostly diecast construction, and a semi-open diecast chassis. They also include tank and cab variations, highly detailed backheads and cabs, removable NEM couplings, space for EM/P4 conversion, firebox glow, and a detailed detailing pack with etched plates and separately fitted details.
The DCC sound fitted models incorporate a single high-quality speaker, stay-alive on board, and DCC controlled firebox lighting. The model is expected to be released in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027, with a price of £150.00 for the DCC ready version, although the price for the DCC sound fitted model is to be confirmed.
