Ellis Clark Trains OO gauge model C1004S depicts the British Railways WD 2‑10‑0 Austerity locomotive in BR black, representing the early crest ‘90772’ era. The model is built to OO gauge standards and is supplied by Clark Railworks as a finescale replica.

The locomotive prototype was constructed for the Ministry of Supply in August 1945, entered British Railways service as number 90772, and was allocated to 66C Hamilton before moving to 66B Motherwell, where it remained until withdrawal on 29 December 1962 and subsequent scrapping at Darlington works.

The model is available as a DC/DCC ready kit with a die‑cast boiler, smokebox and chassis, a brass and plastic tender, injection‑moulded cab, and a high‑quality coreless motor. It includes detailed pipework, cab backhead detailing, fire irons, fully finished wheels and axles with brass bearings, sprung screw‑link couplings, sprung buffers, firebox glow, metal cylinder liners, and a plug‑and‑play Next‑18 DCC harness. Both left‑hand and right‑hand drive versions are offered, and a factory‑fitted DCC sound version will be available.

Pricing is £295.00 for the DCC ready model, with the DCC sound version expected to cost between £395 and £425. The release is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
