Dynamis Next18 DCC Loco‑Decoder (part number 36‑567B) is a digital decoder designed for models that have a Next18 decoder socket. It replaces the earlier 36‑567 and 36‑567A units and is suitable for any model for which those items were recommended.

The decoder operates in four modes – NMRA‑DCC, Motorola protocol, DC analogue and AC analogue – and includes a back‑EMF function. It offers 14, 28 or 128 speed steps, supports both short and long addresses, and defaults to address 3.

Motor control is provided for DC motors, including core‑less types, with a continuous load capacity of 0.7 A. Pulse‑width frequency regulation reaches up to 40 kHz and overload protection with optional back‑EMF de‑selection is provided.

Four powered function outputs (500 mA each, 500 mA total) feature overload protection, and two additional logic‑level outputs plus two logic‑level/SUSI outputs are available. A brake‑button function on F2 allows realistic braking control, and shunting speed and momentum can be selected.

The unit measures 13.3 mm × 9.5 mm × 2.6 mm and can be programmed via DCC service mode or programming on the main line. Extra features include RailCom® feedback and upgradable firmware.
