Why run endless meters of cable from every turnout on your layout when you can connect your Mimic panel to only 2 wires? Alpha Mimic will cleverly eavesdrop on your DCC Bus so it knows which LEDs to change on your panel!

Alpha Mimic is totally plug-and-play with everything linked by easy to use connectors except the DCC Bus wires, and they use a simple screwdriver connection!

We provide a simple linking cable with every Alpha Mimic so you can daisy-chain together as many as you need and even the optional extension display cable just plugs in!

LEDs can add lots of work on DIY panels, but we focussed on keeping it easy so our specially designed Green, Red, Blue, Red-White and Red-Green LEDs are also mounted on 240mm plug-in leads.

Even extending them or adding multiple LEDs doesn’t complicate life as the extension packs that contain additional matching LEDs also include both single and 6-way adapters, so from start to finish, you will never have to cut or solder anything!

This pack contains sufficient LEDs and terminals to show the position of 12 turnouts. More can be added by combining packs – if you wish to have additional LEDs to show a route, then use the Alpha Mimic Add-On LEDs + leads.

DCC Concepts Alpha Mimic Panel Controller (part number DCD-MPRG) is a DCC‑compatible device that allows a mimic panel to operate with only two wiring connections to the DCC bus. It monitors the bus to determine the correct LED state for each turnout, removing the need for separate cables to every point on the layout.

The system is plug‑and‑play, using colour‑coded connectors for all connections except the DCC bus, which is attached with a simple screwdriver terminal. A linking cable is supplied for daisy‑chaining multiple controllers, and an optional extension display cable can be added without soldering. LEDs are supplied on 240 mm plug‑in leads in green, red, blue, red‑white and red‑green colours, and extension packs include matching LEDs plus single‑ and six‑way adapters.

Each pack provides enough LEDs and terminals to indicate the position of twelve turnouts; additional packs can be combined to cover more turnouts or to display route information using the Alpha Mimic Add‑On LEDs and leads.
