Why run endless meters of cable from every turnout on your layout when you can connect your Mimic panel to only 2 wires? Alpha Mimic will cleverly eavesdrop on your DCC Bus so it knows which LEDs to change on your panel!

Alpha Mimic is totally plug-and-play with everything linked by easy to use connectors except the DCC Bus wires, and they use a simple screwdriver connection!

We provide a simple linking cable with every Alpha Mimic so you can daisy-chain together as many as you need and even the optional extension display cable just plugs in!

LEDs can add lots of work on DIY panels, but we focussed on keeping it easy so our specially designed Green, Red, Blue, Red-White and Red-Green LEDs are also mounted on 240mm plug-in leads.

Even extending them or adding multiple LEDs doesn’t complicate life as the extension packs that contain additional matching LEDs also include both single and 6-way adapters, so from start to finish, you will never have to cut or solder anything!

This pack contains sufficient LEDs and terminals to show the position of 12 turnouts. More can be added by combining packs – if you wish to have additional LEDs to show a route, then use the Alpha Mimic Add-On LEDs + leads.

DCC Concepts Alpha Mimic Panel Controller (part number DCD‑MPGN) is a 2‑wire DCC‑bus‑monitoring device that controls LED indicators on a model railway panel. It listens to the DCC bus to determine the position of turnouts and changes the state of the attached LEDs accordingly, eliminating the need for separate cabling to each point.

The unit is supplied as a plug‑and‑play system. All connections use colour‑coded connectors, apart from the DCC‑bus leads which are attached with a simple screwdriver terminal. A linking cable is provided to allow multiple Alpha Mimic units to be daisy‑chained, and an optional extension display cable can be added in the same manner.

LEDs are supplied on 240 mm plug‑in leads in a range of colours – green, red, blue, red‑white and red‑green – and are mounted without the need for soldering or cutting. Extension packs include matching LEDs together with single and six‑way adapters, enabling the basic pack to indicate the position of twelve turnouts; additional packs or the Alpha Mimic Add‑On LEDs can be combined for larger route displays.
