Perfect for all brands of DCC systems, including low-powered starter systems such as Hornby, NCE and Prodigy systems. The DCCconcepts Intelligent DCC Circuit Breaker (iP-CB) works “out of the box” to protect your layout and DCC system against damage caused by overloads and short circuits.

Simple-set jumpers for current limit selection between 1.25A and 5A.
Easy screw terminal connections for track power input and output, trip warning LED, manual reset switch and ESP connections – no solder pads!
ESP connection allows for installation of wireless remote panel indicator
Simple-Set screw adjuster for trip sensitivity so that you can allow for stay-alive charging on your locos

DCC Concepts Intelligent DCC Circuit Breaker (1 pack) – part number DCD‑iPCB.1. This compact device provides overload and short‑circuit protection for digital command control (DCC) railway layouts, compatible with all major DCC systems including Hornby, NCE and Prodigy starter units.

The breaker offers selectable current limits from 1.25 A to 5 A using simple‑set jumpers, and a screw‑adjustable trip sensitivity to allow stay‑alive charging of locomotives. Connections are made via easy screw terminals for track power input and output, a trip‑warning LED, a manual reset switch and optional ESP links for a wireless remote panel indicator; no soldering is required. The unit is housed in a protective aluminium case with an insulating pad beneath for safety.

Installation is straightforward: remove the unit from its packaging, connect it to the DCC bus wires, and the circuit breaker is ready for use, providing immediate protection for the layout and DCC system.
