Manufacturer description

12x 2-wire Red/Green Ground Signal – A pack of 12 x 2-lamp plug and play signals in 4mm scale (OO), supplied with NO control board.

The DCD-MGS-RG is a simple design 2-lamp ground signal that was first seen on a limited basis in the 1920’s in the UK, but it was very widely used internationally.

In addition to its world-wide use, it is also perhaps the perfect “indicator signal” for those with large storage or fiddle yards, giving a clear “Red/Green” indication of track access if used for this.

Use as add-on for Alpha Mimic control signal systems OR use independently if you wish. Please note: If used with other power sources, resistors MUST be added. (we suggest 5,000 ohms or 5k resistors).

Failed LEDs because of incorrect connection will not be covered by warranty.

DCC Concepts 12x 2‑wire Red/Green Ground Signal (manufacturer part number DCD‑GS‑RG) is supplied as a pack of twelve 2‑lamp plug‑and‑play signals in 4 mm scale (OO). The set does not include a control board.

The signals are a simple two‑lamp ground‑signal design that first appeared in limited numbers in the United Kingdom during the 1920s and subsequently saw widespread use worldwide. They provide a clear red and green indication of track access, making them suitable for large storage or fiddle yards.

The units can be used as an add‑on to Alpha Mimic control signal systems or operated independently. When powered from sources other than the recommended board, a 5 kΩ resistor should be added to each signal. Failure of LEDs caused by incorrect wiring is not covered by the warranty.
