Dapol BR Class Y3 Sentinel steam locomotive, model number MR‑020, is a limited‑edition OO‑scale model produced for Model Rail Magazine. The locomotive is finished in British Railways black livery with the early crest emblem and represents the BR Class Y3 No. 68162.
The model features a laser‑scanned body and chassis, a five‑pole super‑creep motor with a flywheel that drives both axles, and a heavy tungsten chassis for reliable performance and high haulage power. It is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket, includes etched metal grilles, wire handrails and separate detail parts, and is fitted with NEM couplings.
This version is an exclusive release for Model Rail Magazine and carries the manufacturer part number MR‑020. The gauge is OO, and the model is supplied with a friction‑free pick‑up arrangement and a detailed, accurate finish.
