Dapol MR‑019 is a OO‑scale model of the British Railways Class Y1 Sentinel steam locomotive, depicting engine number 68144 in the original BR black livery with the early crest and the number displayed on the cab front. The model is produced as a limited edition for Model Rail Magazine and is supplied with an 8‑pin DCC socket.

The locomotive is built to a gauge of OO and incorporates a five‑pole super‑creep motor with a flywheel that drives both axles. The chassis is made from heavy tungsten, providing reliable performance and high haulage power, while a friction‑free pick‑up system ensures consistent electrical contact. The body and chassis have been generated via laser scanning, and the model includes etched metal grilles, wire handrails and a range of separate detail parts, fitted with NEM couplings.

All components are supplied as separate detail parts, allowing for accurate assembly and attention to historical variations. The model is DCC ready, featuring an 8‑pin socket for easy integration with digital command control systems.
