Dapol Science Museum Commemorative Wagon – Stockton and Darlington Railway
Manufacturer part number: 564380
This model forms part of Dapol’s 2026 commemorative wagon range, which celebrates pioneering UK railways. It depicts a seven‑plank wagon that historically ran on the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the line recognised as the birthplace of the modern railway. The original route is now partly incorporated into the Tees Valley line and the SDR trail, and the line is associated with the Locomotion Museum, as well as its later ownership by the North Eastern Railway and the London and North Eastern Railway.
The wagon is offered in both OO‑Gauge and N‑Gauge, matching the 7‑plank wagons used for the Railway 200, NRM50, SDR200 and Greatest Gathering models released in the previous year. Images shown are currently concept renders and may be altered before final production.
Purchases of the wagon contribute funds to Dapol’s museum partners and support their ongoing work.
