Dapol GWR Corridor Toplight 1930 Chocolate & Cream Twin Cities Brake Third LH (model number 4P‑021‑204) is a 00 gauge (16.5 mm) representation of a 1930s Great Western Railway brake third coach. The prototype coaches were built between 1914‑1920 with steel side panels, bolection mouldings around the windows and frosted glass toplights, and they rode on Churchward 9‑ft bogies. They formed part of the “Big Four” era set that includes left‑hand and right‑hand brake thirds, 1‑ or 2‑thirds and composite coaches, all designed with corridor windows on the same side for cross‑country and main‑line working between cities.

The model incorporates a die‑cast chassis with two stamped metal compensation beams for wheel‑bearing electrical pick‑up via stub axles, and offers two styles of underframe truss rods. Couplings are close‑coupled on a cam to negotiate R2 (438 mm) curves and can be fitted with NEM pockets for magnetic couplings or with customer‑supplied traditional NEM compatible couplings. Wheels are cast for 00 gauge but provide clearance for 18.2 mm gauge wheels, and the axles measure 26 mm over the end points. Sprung metal buffers, separate ABS plastic side shells, gap‑free corridor connections, roof ventilators, metal door and commode handles, and removable destination boards are included. Interior lighting and a DCC decoder plug with a blanking plug complete the kit.
