Dapol's latest model is the 57ft Stanier Non-Corridor Brake coach, number 25260, in LMS Lined Maroon livery. This model represents the Big Four era, a period in British railway history that spanned the 1930s to the 1960s.

The prototype coaches were designed by William Stanier in the 1930s as a flush-sided, metal-clad version of the previous LMS suburban coaches. They lasted in service until the mid-1960s, with some still in use under British Rail ownership. The coaches were produced in three liveries: LMS lined maroon, BR Carmine, and BR lined maroon.

Dapol has taken over the tooling for this model from Airfix, which was originally purchased in the 1980s. However, the condition of the tooling has led to some compromises on detail and accuracy. To address this, Dapol has made several improvements, including:

New separately fitted underframe details
A dynamo has been added
Vacuum cylinders have been upgraded to separately fitted parts
Extra framing has been added
Brake shafts have been added
The bogie pivot fixing has been upgraded
New metal wheels have been fitted
New adaptor clips have been added for NEM pockets
The glazing has been re-polished

Decorative samples of the model are currently available, with images to be updated closer to the model's release date.
