Dapol Box Van Devonshire Eggs model number 48355 is a weathered finish replica of a mid‑century British railway box van. The vehicle is produced by Dapol and carries the manufacturer part number 4F‑021‑103.
The model is intended to represent the era of the Big Four railway companies – the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER), the London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), the Great Western Railway (GWR) and the Southern Railway (SR).
It is supplied in a weathered condition to simulate the appearance of a heavily used freight van in service during that period.
