Bryngaer Cambrian Railways 2‑plank fixed‑side open wagon, GWR grey, catalogue number 30474. The model is supplied by Bryngaer and carries the manufacturer part number WMB004.

The wagon represents the era of the Big Four railway companies – the London and North Eastern Railway, London, Midland and Scottish Railway, Great Western Railway and Southern Railway – which operated from 1923 to 1947.

It was a common sight on the Cambrian Railways network, with several hundred in service at any one time. The wagons were primarily used for exporting slate from mid‑Wales, linking with narrow‑gauge lines such as the Ffestiniog and Talyllyn railways. They also handled general goods traffic and permanent‑way work during the Great Western Railway period.

Key specifications include tooling differences between fixed‑side and open‑sided versions, interior planking detail, and NEM couplings. The model accurately reproduces the original wagon’s form and colour.
