Manufacturer catalogue image - please note that pre-release images may be CAD renders or CGI images rather than photographs

Manufacturer description

Goods sheds were used for the storage and transfer of goods at a station, so they were a key part of railway infrastructure. This stone-build goods shed model is based on the shed at Shillingstone Station on the former Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway (now the site of the North Dorset Railway heritage railway), although it could be used on any layout depicting areas with stone buildings. The model has doors and highlights decorated in green.

Bachmann Shillingstone Goods Shed, part number 44‑170, is a model of a stone built goods shed similar to the one that stood at Shillingstone Station on the former Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway, now part of the North Dorset Railway heritage line. Goods sheds were historically used for the storage and transfer of freight at railway stations, making them an important element of railway infrastructure.

The model is supplied in OO scale and comes fully hand painted and decorated, ready for immediate placement on a layout. It features separately fitted sliding doors, etched metal window frames with realistic glazing, and green‑coloured doors and highlights. The window frames are suitable for use with Woodland Scenics JustPlug lighting.

Dimensions are 176 mm in length, 122.5 mm in width and 99 mm in height.
