The Bachmann Branchline OO scale model replicates a British Rail Mark 2F Tourist Second Open (TSO) coach in the InterCity “Swallow” livery. It is fitted with a DCC decoder, carries the running number 6115 and is presented in a pristine finish. The model measures 270 mm in length, uses NEM coupling pockets with a close‑coupling mechanism and is designed to represent the British Rail sectorisation era. It is supplied with the manufacturer part number 39‑678DC and is intended to depict a coach operated by British Rail InterCity.
The coach features interior lighting, door‑interlock lights (when used on DCC) and optional tail lamps that may be set to remain constantly lit or flash. All lighting is controllable via the integrated DCC decoder, and analogue users can operate the lights using easy‑access switches when power is applied. The model was first unveiled in the Summer 2021 British Railway Announcements.
