Prototype Era
Era 5 (1956 to 1966) British Railways Late Crest
The 27 Ton Steel Tippler Wagons were built during the mid-twentieth century and whilst most were built for the British Railways fleet, a small number were used by private owners. The wagons carried bulk materials like ore, chalk and sand, and having no doors, these wagons were unloaded by means of a rotary tippler. This Bachmann Branchline boasts features like metal buffer heads, separate brake gear, NEM couplings and blackened metal wheelsets, making it a fine addition to any wagon collection.
