Bachmann Class 47/0 diesel locomotive, model number 35‑411Z, depicts locomotive number 47 003 in British Rail blue livery with a Stratford silver roof (Era 7). The model is supplied with a PLUX 22‑pin socket for DCC operation and is intended for OO gauge trackwork.
The kit is a limited‑edition release exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre and can be found at https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/76577/35-411Z-Bachmann-Class-47-0-Diesel-Loco-number-47-003-in-BR-Blue. The prototype illustration is credited to Michael Rhodes and shows 47 003 at Tyneside Central freight depot while working a Speedlink service to Tees Yard. The scene includes empty glue tanks returning from Hexham to Duxford, a single fuel oil wagon from Gateshead, and a wagon of Redland bricks delivered to the depot before returning south empty. In this later period the headcode boxes are yellow and the locomotive carries the unofficial Tinsley nickname "Wild Swan", applied on 29 November 1989.
