Bachmann Class 44 44006 “Whernside” is a 275 mm (1:32) model of the British Rail Class 44 “Peak” diesel locomotive, presented in a weathered Blue livery and marked with the running number 44006 and the name Whernwell.
The model is DCC ready with a 21‑pin socket, features directional lighting and can negotiate a minimum radius of 438 mm (2nd radius). It is capable of a maximum speed of 90 mph and carries a 21‑pin DCC plug for digital operation.
