Bachmann LNER K3 1304 is a 250 mm model locomotive in the Lined Black finish, with the running number 1304. The kit is supplied complete and in pristine condition, and carries the manufacturer part number 32‑279A.
The model represents a London & North Eastern Railway K3 built in 1920, designed by Nigel Gresley. It replicates a 2‑6‑0 wheel arrangement and was operated by the LNER during the era of the Big Four railway companies. A total of 193 examples of the original locomotive were produced.
The locomotive is DCC ready, featuring an 8‑pin socket, and is suitable for a minimum radius of 2nd radius (438 mm). It is powered by steam and is appropriate for model railway layouts depicting the period between 01/01/1923 and 31/12/1947.
