This OO gauge model represents a Rebuilt Patriot Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive, numbered 45528 and named R.E.M.E. The locomotive features a 4-6-0 wheel configuration and was originally rebuilt by Derby and Crewe works for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway, later serving under British Railways until 1965. It was primarily designed for express passenger duties and produced a tractive effort of 29,570 lbf.
The model is constructed using a combination of plastic and metal for the chassis and is designed to operate on a minimum curve radius of 438mm, equivalent to second radius. It is equipped with fixed tension lock couplings and measures 258mm in length.
