Bachmann Capital Commuter Train Pack is a 540 mm (HO) model of a British Rail Class 416 “2EPB” electric multiple unit. The kit is finished in the Network SouthEast red, white and blue livery, is DCC ready with a 21‑pin socket, and includes directional and interior lighting. The model can negotiate a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (2nd radius) and represents a train built between 1953 and 1956, of which 129 were produced in reality.
The pack contains the Class 416 EMU, a Scenecraft low‑relief Art Deco station building, two Scenecraft platform sections, a collectible Network SouthEast “Network Card” with holder, and a Certificate of Authenticity. All components are supplied in pristine condition.
The set commemorates the 30th anniversary of Network SouthEast and depicts a typical commuter service on the third‑rail electrified routes around London during the British Rail sectorisation era.
