Common Features:

The second batch of wagons were built for Storage & Transport Services (STS) for general purpose hire - most were used on traffic for Rugby cement although in later years ownership changed to that of CAIB UK. These were numbered STS 10600 - 651 a total of 52 wagons. During 1992 the wagons were all in store at the following locations; Selby 38, Westbury 12, Horbury 1 and Peak Forest 1. Most of these wagons now operate from Ketton for Castle Cement alongside the third batch of wagons noted below - only 10623 remains in storage at Marcroft Wagon Works, Stoke-on-Trent.

Accurascale Bulk Cement Wagon STS No. 10633 is a limited‑edition model released as part of the “Rails of Sheffield” range. It carries the manufacturer part number CAIB PCA and represents the British Rail sectorisation period.

The model includes a range of detailed features intended to replicate the appearance of real wagons. These comprise authentic individual lettering, logos and codes; NEM standard flexible coupler pockets and narrow tension‑lock couplers; RP25.110 darkened profile wheel‑sets with a 14.4 mm back‑to‑back spacing; metal disc wagon wheels on 12.6 mm metal axles; etched steel factory‑fitted detailing such as ladders and walkways; finely modelled plastic pipework and other components; fully sprung metal buffers; and added weight of 25 g per axle to meet NEM standards. Each wagon is supplied with a limited‑edition certificate.
