Model details

The Accurascale Cutdown HYA - Blue/Black with Touax/GB Railfreight branding is a model pack that features two OO gauge wagons, each with individual running numbers and decoration. This model represents the cutdown version of the HYA bogie coal hopper, which was introduced in the wake of the UK's carbon tax increase in 2015. The wagons in this pack are based on those modified by WH Davis for VTG Rail and feature a blue and black livery with Touax and GB Railfreight branding.

The models are highly detailed and feature a range of accurate details, including etched metal factory-fitted parts and extra fine detail plastic parts. Each wagon has a unique running number and decoration, with individual lettering, logos, and codes from real wagons for authenticity. The wagons are also equipped with NEM standard coupler pockets and kinematic close coupling functionality.

The models are built to a high standard, with features such as blackened RP25.110 profile wheel-sets and highly detailed TF25 low track force bogies.
