Accurascale ICI Hopper – Twin Pack (model ACC3073) is a highly detailed O O gauge model of the ICI limestone hopper that was in service on British Railways from 1973 to 1992. The sample shown is decorated and may not represent the final appearance of the model.
The model is presented in 1:76.2 scale on 16.5 mm track and weighs 44 g. It features a detailed interior with rivets, framing, strapping and supports, as well as a multi‑piece body, chassis and bogies. The bogies include separate vacuum brake gear, vacuum hoses, hopper‑door controls, handbrake wheels and brake gear. RP25‑110 profile wheels with separate brake blocks are fitted, and the model includes metal buffers, removable NEM coupler pockets and mini tension‑lock couplers.
Three bogie styles are offered – original “diamond frame”, “plate” bogies with oil‑filled axle boxes and “plate” bogies with roller bearings – together with three body‑lettering options: small ICI lettering, large ICI lettering and no ICI lettering. Livery details are reproduced to match the era and the particular wagon type.
