Accurascale ICI Limestone Hopper – Twin Pack D (model ACC3072) is a highly detailed OO gauge replica of the British Railways Late Crest ICI hopper, representing the period from 1973 to 1992. The model is supplied as a decorated sample, which may differ from the final production version.

The kit provides a 1:76.2 scale (16.5 mm track) wagon weighing approximately 44 g, with a minimum curvature radius of 2. It features a multi‑piece body, detailed interior ribbing, framing, strapping and supports, as well as a chassis with separate vacuum brake gear, vacuum hoses, hopper‑door controls, hand‑brake wheels and brake gear.

Wheels are fitted with RP25‑110 profile OO gauge tyres and inline brake blocks, and the model includes metal buffers and removable NEM coupler pockets equipped with mini tension‑lock couplers.

Three bogie types are offered – original ‘Diamond frame’, ‘Plate’ bogies with oil‑filled axle boxes, and ‘Plate’ bogies with roller bearings – together with three body lettering options: small ICI, large ICI and no ICI lettering, all rendered in the correct livery for the era depicted.
