Accurascale has released a new set of five British Steel PTA wagons, part of their South Wales Grey fleet. These models are available in various liveries, including British Steel, Yeoman, and ARC, and are designed to represent the wagons in the 1970s and 1980s.

The models are built to OO gauge (1:76.2 scale) and are equipped with features such as NEM standard coupler pockets, kinematic close coupling functionality, and sprung metal buffers. The wagons are also fitted with etched metal detailing, extra fine plastic parts, and pipework.

The new set includes running numbers BSSW 26602, BSSW 26625, BSSW 26643, BSSW 26647, and BSSW 26653, and are designed to replicate the distinctive BSC 'Axle Motion' bogies and RP25.110 profile wheelsets.

The models are available in a range of liveries, including two Mendip stone variants and three British Steel variants, including the iconic Redcar-Consett/South Bank working.
