Accurascale has released a new set of five PTA-BSc South Wales Grey Wagons, featuring five different liveries. The models are designed to represent British Rail Blue (TOPS) era vehicles and are available in various liveries, including British Steel and Mendip stone trains. The wagons are equipped with BSC ‘Axle Motion’ bogies and feature etched brake discs, improved bogie details, and track-pickup for the tail light.
The set includes five wagons with individual running numbers, each with unique decoration. The models are made to OO gauge (1:76.2 scale) and have a recommended minimum radius of 2 curves. They feature NEM standard coupler pockets, ‘kinematic’ close coupling functionality, and sprung metal buffers. The models also include etched metal factory-fitted detailing, extra fine plastic parts, and pipework.
The wagons are designed to be highly detailed and authentic, with individual lettering, logos, and codes from real wagons. They are equipped with blackened RP25.110 profile wheelsets, 14.4mm back-to-back measurements, and 26mm over pinpoints. Each outer pack includes a wagon with a fitted, flashing red tail light.
Accurascale has released two sets of five wagons each, featuring a range of liveries, including Mendip stone and British Steel workings. The sets include:
* Two packs featuring British Steel liveries, including the Redcar-Consett/South Bank wagons and the Port Talbot-Llanwern circuit
* Two packs featuring Mendip stone liveries, including the Yeoman revised "Big Y" livery and the classic olive scheme with "Procor" markings
* Three new packs with new running numbers, featuring the famous Port Talbot-Llanwern circuit with three Class 37s
