Accurascale has released a new OO Gauge model of the BR Mk.2c (large toilet window) TSO 5505 in Regional Railways livery. The model features a highly-detailed exterior with fine rivet detail on the roof and coach ends, and separately-applied etched metal and plastic parts.
The model has a fully-detailed underframe with numerous separate parts, pipe runs, and accurate differences between versions. It also features blackened RP25.110 profile wheel-sets with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements, and 26mm over pinpoints. The model has different buffers for retracted and non-retracted positions.
The interior of the model features accurate details, including characteristic 'winged' headrests, separate metal interior handrails on the brake and corridor vehicles, and a fully-detailed guard's compartment. The model includes a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting, 'stay-alive' capacitor, and directional lighting with DC or DCC control.
The model is available in a variety of liveries, including BR Blue/Grey, Network SouthEast, InterCity, and TransPennine stock, as well as a striking South Wales & West livery. The model is suitable for modellers of all eras, from the 1980s to the early 2000s.
The Accurascale model is compatible with OO Gauge track and is suitable for minimum radius curves of 438mm. The model is 269mm in length and features a fully-detailed underframe with numerous separate parts and accurate differences between versions.
