Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model of a BR Mk.2b TSO coach in South Wales & West maroon livery. This model is part of a comprehensive range of Mk.2b and Mk.2c coaches, which are highly detailed and feature accurate exterior rivet detail, etched metal and plastic parts, and fine glazing.

The model is highly detailed, with a fully-detailed underframe, accurate bogies that can be re-gauged to EM or P4 gauges, and blackened wheel-sets with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements. The interior is also accurately represented, with characteristic 'winged' headrests and separate metal interior handrails.

The model is available in a range of liveries, including BR Blue, Network SouthEast, InterCity, and TransPennine stock, making it a versatile option for modellers. Accurascale has also released a range of Mk.2c coaches, including some that were operated by the South Wales & West franchise, featuring distinctive dark blue and maroon liveries.

The models are designed to be easy to convert to Kadee-compatiable knuckle couplers and feature a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and 'stay-alive' capacitors. Minimum radius of operation is 438mm, and the model has a length of 269mm.

Accurascale's Mk.2b and Mk.2c coaches are highly detailed and accurately represent the prototypes, making them a great addition to any OO gauge model railway. The range offers excellent opportunities for modellers to expand existing rakes or build new formations behind popular locomotives such as the Class 50, 31, and 37.
