Accurascale Pack of 3 – Chaldron Wagon Seaham Harbour (manufacturer part number ACC2812‑M) represents British Railways in the early Crest period. The pack contains three NER 4‑ton “Black Wagons” modelled in three body styles that were in use in the 1950s. The wagons are numbered 11, 39 and 18 and are themed to Seaham Dock Co., with each vehicle’s lettering and markings derived from photographic evidence and colliery records.

The set is composed of die‑cast metal chassis with plastic bodies, each weighing 9 g unloaded. The wagons run on the minimum‑radius curve of 371 mm (first‑radius set‑track). Five different body designs covering the years 1840 to 1978 are available across the range, with three wheel‑spoke styles (split, star and wave) to a blackened 00‑gauge RP25‑88 profile. Three braking arrangements, three types of bang‑board, and removable “greedy boards” (horizontal extensions for increased coal loading) are also provided. Additional detail parts such as grab handles, door pins, chassis chain points and safety chains are reproduced in eroded metal or plastic.

Connectivity is achieved with a fine‑link chain fitted with neodymium magnetic heads and prototypical cotter‑pin couplings. Two extra NEM‑fitted magnetic couplings are supplied for attachment to locomotives or further rolling stock. Artwork accurately reproduces colliery markings and numbers, based on actual photographs where possible, with research assistance from Beamish Living Museum, Bowes Railway and the North Eastern Railway Association.
