Accurascale Custom Weathered HYA Bogie Hopper Wagon – Direct Rail Services (DRS) Twin Pack (New Release) is a limited‑edition model released as part of the “Rails of Sheffield” range. The pack is supplied exclusively by Rails of Sheffield and carries the manufacturer part number ACC2607R‑DRS1W. The wagons are finished in a weathered DRS livery and represent the period of railway rebuilding, having been in service from 2010 to 2011 on the Shap‑Salford flow.

The set contains two individual wagons, each with its own running number and authentic decoration. They are highly detailed OO gauge models (1:76.2 scale) designed for 16.5 mm track. Features include NEM standard coupler pockets with kinematic close‑coupling, NEM narrow tension‑lock couplers at the correct height, sprung buffers, dummy screw‑link couplers, etched metal factory‑fitted detailing and fine plastic parts such as air pipes, brake hand‑wheel, levers and hopper operating brackets. The wagons carry accurate lettering, logos and codes taken from the real vehicles.

Each wagon is fitted with TF25 low‑track‑force bogies, brake blocks in line with the wheels, separate brake shoes and a brake adjuster. The wheel‑sets are blackened RP25.110 profile with a back‑to‑back measurement of 14.4 mm and a pin‑point over‑dimension of 26 mm. The overall length over buffers is 240 mm and the weight of each wagon is 160 g. A limited‑edition certificate is supplied with the pack.

The two wagons are catalogued under the railway model numbers 37 70 6791 014‑3 and 37 70 6791 016‑8 respectively. They were the only DRS‑coloured HYA hopper wagons produced, operating for a brief period before the livery was withdrawn.
