Accurascale HYA Bogie Hopper Wagon Direct Rail Services (DRS) Twin Pack – a limited‑edition model released as part of the Rails of Sheffield range (part number ACC2607R‑DRS1). The set represents the period of railway rebuilding and depicts two DRS‑liveried hopper wagons that operated between 2010 and 2011 on the Shap‑Salford flow.
Both wagons are supplied in OO gauge (1:76.2 scale) with individual running numbers, authentic lettering, logos and codes. They feature NEM‑standard coupler pockets with kinematic close‑coupling, narrow tension‑lock couplers at the correct height, sprung buffers and dummy screw‑link couplers. The models include etched metal factory‑fitted detailing and fine plastic parts such as air pipes, brake hand‑wheel, levers and hopper operating brackets.
The wagons ride on highly detailed TF25 low‑track‑force bogies fitted with brake blocks in line with the wheels, separate brake‑shoes and a brake adjuster. They utilise blackened RP25.110 profile wheel‑sets with a 14.4 mm back‑to‑back dimension and 26 mm over pinpoints. Each wagon measures 240 mm over buffers and weighs 160 g. A limited‑edition certificate is supplied with the pack.
These models are exclusive to the Rails of Sheffield range and carry the identifiers 37 70 6791 014‑3 and 37 70 6791 016‑8. They are intended for collectors and railway enthusiasts seeking an accurate representation of DRS hopper wagons in the early 2010s.
