Model details

Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model wagon pack featuring five tippler wagons. The pack includes two 'outer' wagons and three 'inner' wagons, each with individual running numbers and decoration.

The wagons are modelled to represent the rebuilding of the railways period and are accurate replicas of wagons owned by VTG Rail UK Limited. The models feature a range of detailing including etched metal factory fitted parts, extra fine factory fitted detail plastic parts, and extra fine factory fitted pipework.

Each wagon is equipped with NEM standard coupler pockets and features 'kinematic' close coupling functionality. The 'outer' wagons are fitted with NEM narrow tension lock couplers, while the 'inner' wagons have knuckle couplers. The models also feature sprung metal buffers and BSC axle motion bogies.

The wagons are painted in VTG grey livery and are finished to a pristine standard. Each wagon is approximately 165mm long and is designed for easy conversion to EM and P4 gauges. One of the 'outer' wagons in each pack includes a battery-powered flashing tail light for added authenticity.

The pack is designed to be representative of OO gauge, with the models scaled to 1:76.2. The wheels are blackened RP25.110 profile with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements and 26mm over pinpoints.
