Once again, the EMGS NE&Borders Area Group are putting on Workshopwise. This year, the date is Saturday, 24th October; the venue remains Stannington Village Hall just off the A1 between Newcastle and Morpeth. The EMGS NE & Borders Area Group will be hosting Workshopwise 2026, a small friendly exhibition showcasing model railways. The event will take place on Saturday, 24th October 2026, at Stannington Village Hall, situated just off the A1 between Newcastle and Morpeth.

The exhibition will feature demonstrations of various modelling techniques, as well as a selection of model layouts, some of which will be complete and others that are still work-in-progress. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view a number of stands and exhibits.

One layout will be on display, and visitors can expect to see a range of EM gauge, 2mm and fine scale models.

Refreshments will be available on site, including a range of home-made food at reasonable prices, as well as free tea and coffee. Ample free parking will also be available at the venue. Admission to the event is £5 for adults, with accompanied children able to attend for free.
