The Junction 72a Model Railway Club will be hosting an open day on Sunday 7th June 2026 at Saint Katherine's Priory in Exeter. The event will take place between 11am and 3pm, during which time the public will have access to nearly two acres of ground.
The Exeter & District Model Engineers Society will be operating their live steam miniature railway, offering rides at a cost of £2 per person. Meanwhile, the Junction 72a Model Railway Club will be running three layouts, including the award-winning Rolstone, which was featured in Railway Modeller magazine. The layouts can be found on the first floor of the 12th century priory.
Entry to the club room costs £1 per adult, with accompanied children under 14 admitted free of charge. Refreshments will be available on site, and parking is also free of charge.
This event is part of the regular open days held by the Junction 72a MRC on the first Sunday of every month.
