Charity Open Day at Lyde Green Community Centre
The Sodbury Vale Model Railway Club is pleased to announce that planning is well underway for their Charity Open Day, which will take place at Lyde Green Community Centre in Bristol on Saturday 5th October 2025.
The event will run from 10am to 4.00pm, providing an opportunity for model railway enthusiasts of all ages to come and enjoy a day out. Admission to the event is £6 for adults, with accompanied children going free.
The day promises to be a great event, with 12 model railway layouts on display, showcasing the talents of local modellers. In addition to the layouts, the event will also feature 6 traders selling a range of model railway related products and accessories. Visitors will be able to browse the stalls and purchase items to enhance their own modelling projects.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, and there will also be modelling demonstrations and a club information stand. Free parking is also available on site, making it easy to visit and enjoy the event.
