The Ipswich Railway Modellers will be hosting an open day on Monday, 19th September 2026, at their premises in Ipswich, situated at 40a Norfolk Road.
Visitors are invited to attend between 10am and 3pm to see the club's many layouts in operation. The event is an ideal opportunity for those who have never been to the club before to learn more about the activities and membership options. Modellers of all gauges, including N, OO and O gauge, will find something of interest, with models in various stages of development on display. Information on club membership will be available, with annual fees starting at £75.
Visitors are also welcome to browse the selection of pre-owned items available for purchase, which can be used to start a new model railway or enhance an existing layout. Refreshments will be available during the event.
Please note that on-site parking is limited, but reserved for disabled badge holders.
