The Saddleworth Model Railway Exhibition will be taking place from Saturday 2nd May to Monday 4th May 2026 at the Saddleworth Museum & Gallery in Uppermill. The event, now in its 6th year, will be supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind as its chosen charity.
The exhibition will feature seven model railway layouts, as well as two local traders selling a range of model railway-related goods. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a charity raffle and vote for their favourite layout in the Best in Show competition. Refreshments will be available on site, and visitors are also welcome to explore the Saddleworth Museum and the surrounding town during their visit.
Admission to the exhibition will cost £5.00 per adult, with free parking available on site. The event will run on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm, and Monday from 11am to 4pm.
