As part of the nationwide Railway 200 celebrations, Lightbox Gallery & Museum in Woking will host a special model railway display from 22–26 October, 10.30am–4.00pm daily, in the Ambassadors Room.
Presented in partnership with the Guildford O Gauge Group (GOGG), this event offers a rare chance to see dynamic model railways in action. Visitors can experience trains from across Britain’s and the world’s railway history – from the nostalgia of steam to the excitement of modern high-speed travel – all recreated in fascinating miniature.

A display of O Gauge model trains will be held at the Lightbox Gallery in Woking from 22nd to 26th October 2025. The event, organised by the Guildford O Gauge Group, will feature a 5-track test track showcasing a range of O Gauge miniature trains from Victorian times through to the present day.
The display is part of the group's celebrations of rail 200 and will be held within the Lightbox Gallery, which also hosts a number of other exhibitions, including a large display of works by Andy Warhol. Admission to the O Gauge event will include access to all the Lightbox's exhibitions.
Refreshments will be available during the event. The O Gauge display will take place from 10.30am to 3.30pm each day, with admission priced at £14.50 per adult.
