Railex North East 2026 is a model railway exhibition organised by the Blyth and Tyne Model Railway Society. The event will take place at the Parks Sports Centre in Tynemouth on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July 2026.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see over 30 quality model railway layouts on display, featuring a range of themes including Thomas and Friends and LEGO Railways. In addition to the model railway layouts, trade stands will also be present, offering a range of modelling supplies and accessories.
Model railway enthusiasts will also be able to watch demonstrations and learn new skills from experienced modellers. Refreshments will be available to purchase on site, and visitors will be able to park for free. A shuttle bus service will also be provided to the nearby railway station for those who wish to travel by train.
Admission prices are as follows: adults will pay £10, children £5, and a family ticket costs £22.
