The Pontefract Model Railway Exhibition is an annual event held by the Normanton and Pontefract Model Railway Society. This year's exhibition is scheduled to take place at Pontefract Racecourse in Wakefield on the weekend of 24th to 25th January 2026.
During the event, visitors can expect to see a variety of model railway layouts in different scales and gauges on display. In addition to the layouts, a selection of traders will be selling a range of model railway-related goods. Refreshments will be available during the event, and parking is provided on site at no extra cost. A charity tombola will also be run by the Prince of Wales Hospice during the exhibition.
