The Nottingham Model Railway Society is hosting its Spring 2027 Show at St John's Church Community Hall, Hucknall, on the weekend of 17th and 18th April 2027. The event will take place on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 4.30 pm.
Admission to the show will be £6 for adults, with accompanied children under 16 admitted free of charge. Refreshments will be available on site, and parking is also free.
The show will feature a selection of model railway layouts, including Zlata Vychod, which depicts modern operations on the border between Czechia and Germany in HO scale, Springfield, a gritty urban landscape in North America in HO scale, and Bregstadt, a modern private railway in southern Germany in TT scale. Other layouts and exhibitions will also be on display.
Trade support will be provided by Malc's Models, which will be selling a wide range of model products, including model railways, Scalextric, plastic kits, diecast models, and radio control items. Skog Carriage and Wagon Works will also be in attendance, showcasing their 3D printed O gauge wagons. The Nottingham MRS Club Sales Stand will also be selling a variety of items.
The event is easily accessible by public transport, with the Nottingham Express Tram stopping at Butler's Hill tram stop, and regular train services running to Hucknall. Alternatively, buses 3A, B, or C can be taken to Broomhill Yew Tree, or visitors can drive to Hucknall via the M1 motorway.
