The New Forest Model Railway Society is hosting its Annual Open Day on Saturday 30 November 2025 at Brockenhurst Village Hall. This event is a great opportunity for model railway enthusiasts to see the society's club layouts as well as those belonging to its members.
Over the course of the day, visitors will have the chance to view ten model railway layouts, each showcasing a unique and imaginative representation of the world of model railways. In addition to these layouts, six traders will be in attendance, offering a range of goods and services for model railway enthusiasts.
The event is a drop-in affair, with visitors welcome to arrive at any time between 10.00am and 4.30pm. Admission to the event is £7 for adults, with accompanied children under 18 admitted free of charge.
During the day, visitors will also have the chance to see modelling demonstrations, peruse the club's information stand, and enjoy refreshments. The hall offers full wheelchair access, although the stage is not accessible. Parking is also available on site, and is free of charge.
The village hall is situated approximately 0.2 miles from Brockenhurst Station, and can be reached via a short walk from the up-side car park.
