The Slough and Windsor Railway Society is pleased to announce the return of the annual MRX event, taking place at Burnham Park Hall in Slough on the weekend of 25th to 26th October 2025.
This popular model railway exhibition promises to be a great day out for enthusiasts and families alike, with a fantastic selection of model railway layouts on display. Ten layouts will be showcased, each offering a unique and fascinating glimpse into the world of model railways. From scenic landscapes to intricate urban scenes, there will be something to captivate every interest.
In addition to the impressive layouts, the event will also feature a range of traders selling all manner of model railway goods, from trains and track to accessories and painting supplies. Heritage groups will also be in attendance, sharing their knowledge and expertise with visitors.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy refreshments throughout the day, including a selection of food and drink. Modelling demonstrations will be taking place, providing a great opportunity for visitors to learn new skills and techniques from experienced modellers.
The event is open to families, with one accompanied child per adult admitted free and additional children charged at £5.00. Adults and seniors can enjoy the event for £8.00 and £7.00 respectively. The exhibition will be open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
