The Amberley Museum is hosting a Miniature Steam & Model Show on 19 and 20 September 2026. The event will feature miniature and model steam engines operating on the museum's 36-acre site. Visitors will have the opportunity to compare the miniature engines with full-size steam locomotives that will also be on display.

On both days, there will be a parade of all the engines on display, allowing visitors to see each locomotive in action. A unique hands-on experience will also be available, where visitors can take the controls of a locomotive on one of the industrial lines, although a train will not be attached. A suggested donation of £5 will apply for this activity.

The event promises to be a fun-filled day out for all the family, with refreshments available and children's activities provided. Free parking is available on site, and visitors are advised to pre-book tickets to avoid disappointment.
