Darlington Model Railway Club is pleased to announce the inaugural MICRO NORTH model railway exhibition, taking place on 8th November 2025 at Hopetown in Darlington. This event celebrates the town's rich railway heritage, as it is the birthplace of passenger railways on the Stockton and Darlington Railway, which is also marking its 200th anniversary this year.
The exhibition, which will run from 10am to 5pm, offers a unique opportunity for model railway enthusiasts to meet fellow enthusiasts and experience the work of local model railway clubs and traders. We are delighted to welcome Northern Rail as our main event sponsors, whose vital transport links across the region and the North of England make this event possible.
Eight traders will be in attendance, showcasing a wide range of model railway products and accessories. Visitors will also be able to enjoy refreshments and find out more about the Darlington Model Railway Club at our club information stand.
Admission to the exhibition is free, making it an excellent opportunity for both seasoned model railway enthusiasts and newcomers to the hobby to attend and enjoy a fun-filled day out.
